Our Curriculum
Our Early Years follow the English National Curriculum, transitioning to the Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary Curricula before progressing to iGCSE and A-Levels. Inspired by the British education system, the Cambridge Curriculum is specially adapted for international students. Students engage in core subjects like English, Maths, Science, Global Perspectives, Art, Music, PE, and ICT starters.
Focus on languages
One of the unique aspects of EIST is the importance we put on learning languages. Whilst our curriculum is delivered in English, our students all have the opportunities to learn both French and Arabic in a meaningful way. French and Arabic lessons are conducted daily. The advantages of being bilingual or multilingual goes far beyond language skills. Research has now shown that bilingual learners have other cognitive advantages such as deeper problem solving skills and increased learning capacity.
