The Chairman of the Board and Governor in Charge of Curriculum, Pastoral and Legal is responsible for leading all Governing Body meetings and ensuring they are properly organized. They appoint committees to avoid duplication.
They declare any potential conflicts of interest to ensure transparency. They ensure that all necessary policies and regulatory documents are in place and regularly reviewed, and that important information is published on the school's website. They ensure that teaching time is sufficient to meet the National Curriculum and regulatory requirements.
In addition, the Chair ensures that the school has up-to-date policies on sexuality education, monitors the quality of teaching and learning, and guides the Headteacher in promoting good conduct and discipline. Governor in Charge of Wellbeing and Safeguarding
The Governor responsible for Wellbeing and Safeguarding helps to make sure our school is a safe, supportive place for every student, staff member, and family. Since 2003, Ms. Sellaoui has been serving as the CEO of Groupe Scolaire René Descartes, showcasing strong leadership and unwavering dedication to the education sector. In 2003, she earned a Master’s degree in Currency and Finance from IHEC Tunis, highlighting her solid academic foundation. With over 21 years of experience, Ms. Sellaoui possesses an excellent understanding of the K12 business landscape and market dynamics. Additionally, she has outstanding project management skills, enabling her to successfully lead and execute a variety of initiatives.

Mr Braham is a dedicated professional with a strong background in finance and strategic leadership. Currently, he serves as a member of the executive committee at MENA CAPITAL PARTNERS, where he contributes to the firm's regional growth and investment strategies.
Mr Braham holds a Master's degree in Finance from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, one of the most prestigious institutions in France, which has equipped him with solid financial expertise.
As an associated partner at MCP and a stock market intermediary, he is among the most active figures in Tunisia's transactional market, especially in the pharmaceutical and education sectors. His extensive experience and active involvement make him a key player in these industries.

Jacqueline Johnson
Governor in Charge of EDUCATION
The role of the governor of Education is to oversee the school's strategic direction, ensure accountability, and support leadership. Ms. Jacqueline is an accomplished mathematics educator with over a decade of experience in UK secondary schools and colleges. She holds a degree in Statistics and Mathematics and a postgraduate diploma in Mathematics with Numeracy and Special Education, equipping her with a unique ability to support diverse learning needs. Currently pursuing a pre-PhD in Educational Research, Ms. Jacqueline is committed to staying at the forefront of innovative teaching practices.

Governor in Charge of Infrastructure
Ms. Samiha Kallel, the Governor in charge of Infrastructure, has several important responsibilities. She ensures that school buildings are safe and suitable for use, oversees all infrastructural plans, and makes sure that approval is obtained for any new structures. Additionally, she scrutinizes budgets related to school infrastructure and supervises the work of builders and contractors to ensure everything is done properly.
Throughout her 24-year career as an Arabic language teacher in diverse educational settings, including Tunisian, French, and international schools, Mrs Samiha Kallel has demonstrated remarkable adaptability and a deep commitment to student
well-being. Her experience extends beyond the classroom, with roles as an educational adviser and department head. Currently, she works at EIST, where her leadership continues to shape the educational process.
